Spider Vein Treatment
Spider veins are the small areas of blue, purple, or red veins that you may have on your ankles, thighs or calves.
As a general rule, spider veins appear in a branchlike, spider-like pattern. The method we use at Summit Plastic Surgery consists of a series of injections, which causes the veins to safely collapse and eventually fade.
Every person has a different response to the injections and the number of treatments needed. Occasionally, we have a patient who needs laser treatments on the spider veins. Most patients improve with spider vein treatments. There is no down time with these treatments.
